Waldo, New Mexico $79.66 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Waldo is an unincorporated area in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, United States. It was created along the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway just west of Cerrillos. Today little remains, although the name appears on a freeway exit on Interstate 25 some distance to the west. Today, Waldo is a siding along the line of the BNSF Railway, which bought out the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway.Waldo was at the junction of the ATSF main eastwest line and the Madrid spur. There were coke ovens in Waldo, supplied by coal from Madrid. The spur itself no longer exists. The ovens were on the south side of the mail line, and the town on the north. The rail line parallels the Galisteo River. Author: Surhone, Lambert M./ Tennoe, Mariam T./ Henssonow, Susan F. GE Dash 840bw by Evelyn, Columba Sara [Paperback] $76.47 Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Dash 840BW, or B408W as some call it, is a fouraxle road diesel locomotive built by GE Transportation Systems for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway in the early 1990s. ATSF was the only railroad to order it, and a B unit was almost made with it, but because the price would have been the same for B408Ws with cabs or without, they decided to order units with cabs only. All of ATSFs B408Ws became part of BNSF Railway, and many of them were repainted into BNSFs orange, yellow, and green Heritage 2 paint scheme. Fruits of Time: Nature and the Unfolding of Difference $35.04 This book argues that physics is destined to enter a new era marked by an enlarged conception of physical knowledge. This is not a matter of future discoveries, but has to do with how scientific thought responds over time to what is known today. In the new era a genuinely explanatory dimension is restored to physical science which in the current era of thought is quietly abandoned as archaic. The current view is that for a certain class of phenomena, physical explanations in the sense of descriptions of underlying causal processes are no longer possible. It is assumed that the general demise of classical materialistic causal models (such as the theory of ether as an allpervading material medium of light propagation) consigns this kind of theorizing to history. This book fully accepts the breakdown of classical causal models, but not the inference that causal explanation itself is outmoded. Instead, it claims that the demise of classical assumptions opens the door on a prospect of thorough causalphysical intelligibility such as was never foreseeable within the classical worldview.Written with the inquisitive and critically minded layperson in mind, the book describes findings across the major facets of contemporary physics as all pointing to the same conclusion about the nature of physical reality.
