Hyundai Santa Fe Review and Specifications
Hyundai Santa Fe is a baby SUV from Hyundai India. The South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai into SUV segment with Tucson and Terracan, but both the models did not glow. After failure of both the models, the company has now launched Santa Fe which is cleverly packed SUV.
Hyundai Santa Fe was first launched in 2000 in the U.S. market and has got good responses from Korean and North American markets as well. It is currently competing with Mahindra Scorpio, Toyota Qualis, Chevrolet Captiva, Mitsubishi Pajero, Honda CR-V, and Nissan X-Trail.
Engine- the earlier version Hyundai Santa Fe was the previous winner of the Best Recreational 4x4 category in Auto Express's New Car Awards. Hyundai Santa Fe has powerful 2.2-litre direct -injection diesel engine which has a capacity to generate 194bhp and torque of 436 Nm manages to be efficient and also manages to achieve 38.2Mpg. The pickup of the car is good; you can target the 0-70 km speed within 10 seconds. The mileage of this car is expected 12-15 kmpl.
