Happiness is what all of us delve for, isn’t? Each one of us search for it everywhere.. some in money , some in fame , some in name , some in luxury … But to they succeed in their search.. when you are in need of wealth , and you strive to amass it , you may end up with a fortune you have only dreamt of. But still , would you be happy ?? even if you may experience the momentary happiness , would tat last long ?? A few thoughts to ponder .
The true happiness lies within us. But still we search outside for it. It is in our conscience. In your response to your conscience you will find the conscience you seek for. There is a Hindu mythological story that goes like this. “God once debated with himself where to hide the true essence of happiness. His 1st choice was deep in ocean.. But then realized that there might be submarines in 20th century and man would find it out. He then debated if moon would be a suitable place.. At once he bit his tongue realizing that technology would take man there too. If 21st century has taught us something , it is all about the judicial use of the word “ impossible”.. So baffled god approached his hire ups ( hierarchy there too J) .He was advised to place the essence of joy , the bliss, the soul of happiness in man’s heart. So , it lies there, still untouched.
When we encounter a poor lad down the street the inner voice compels us to make a stop and give him a day’s meal. But , how often do we listen to what we hear ?? Our time or our work pushed us to keep going , isn’t? A day , just a day, try this out. Listen to your inner self. Listen to the voice within. And act accordingly. Do the justice it says to do. Say the truths it asks you to say . Face the consequences. Be just , and fear not. Fear only your conscience. There comes the true joy. There comes the true bliss .
All the God sent gifts to us get unnoticed as we are entangled in the vicious cycle of birth and death. We fail to open the treasure , the true joy , the unbound happiness , the parcel that god once placed within ourselves , as we search all around for it except the place of its existence… Our very inner self.
Learn to respect it , to abide by what it says, you will find that you unwrap the gifts of joy and bliss which cannot be stolen or snatched.
