The Brother MFC-7225N is a multifunction monochrome printer with a number of features designed to help home offices and small businesses succeed. Offering print, scan, copy, and fax capabilities, this printer is built to act as a full-service office machine. Good networking options and a large processor mean that the Brother MFC-7225N also offers the ability to function in a variety of settings.
Features and Functionality
With print and copy speeds of up to 20 pages per minute and a 2400 x 600 DPI resolution, this 4-in-1 printer doesn't skimp on the basics. The MFC-7225N offers crisp, clear monochrome text regardless of whether you're printing, copying, or scanning, and can work with detailed gray scale graphics and images. A single paper input tray comes standard at 250 sheets (for both letter and legal size paper), with a single-sheet manual bypass feet for use with envelopes and other print media.
A walk-up glass top allows you to make single copies with the press of a button. For faster scanning and copying, a 30-page auto feeder, which comes standard on the MFC-7225N, allows you to place bulk jobs in one easy-to-use tray.
The standard Black MFC-7225N toner cartridge will yield up to 2,500 pages of use for both copies and prints. All Brother MFC-7225N cartridges are easy to install and designed to maximize the quality of your documents. This printer model uses the TN350 toner cartridge and DR350 drum cartridge.
The Brother MFC-7225N can be connected via the included Ethernet interface or the standard USB and Parallel ports. All faxing is offered through a built-in 33.6K modem, and a corded handset is included for additional communication use. The machine is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems, and can be connected to laptops, PCs, and Mac computers.
In addition to a standard 32MB of memory, the MFC-7225N offers the ability to hold up to 500 pages of fax memory and can store 200 speed dial numbers. Images can be emailed to or from personal computers to make scans and faxes easier to manage.
