Boot Camp for New Dads to Hold Master Coach Certification Training in Denver October 2-3, 2009

Boot Camp for New Dads(http://www.bcnd.org), a non-profit orientation program for fathers-to-be, operating in more than 260 hospitals, clinics, schools, fire stations and churches around North America and internationally, will hold a Master Coach Certification Training session October 2-3, 2009.  The two-day training session will be held at the National Boot Camp Training Center, Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital, 1900 Lafayette Street in Denver, CO.

                                             

Only those that are licensed facilities are eligible to enroll in the Boot Camp for New Dads Master Coach Certification Training.

 

This all-new, specially-designed, cutting edge event will be led by three Boot Camp National Trainers with over 25 years of combined experience leading Boot Camp workshops across the United Sates and England. According to Boot Camp for New Dads’ program evaluations and statistics, Master Coaches get Boot Camp for New Dads programs off to the strongest possible start while existing programs see huge gains in rookie satisfaction and veteran return rate. 

 

Master Coaches act as facilitators for the Boot Camp for New Dads programs. A Master Coach’s role is central to important issues regarding the return of veteran dads to the program, excellent outcomes for rookie dads, media attention, and general excitement about the program within the community. 

 

Tuition is $400 and covers both days of training.  It also includes lunch on Friday and a continental breakfast and lunch on Saturday.  Pre-training materials will be sent to those who register.  For more information or to register, visit BCND.org.

                                                

About the Boot Camp for New Dads Program

Boot Camp for New Dads has worked with more than 200,000 new dads at their workshops held over the past 19 years.  After attending a Boot Camp for New Dads “hands on” educational workshop, dads-to-be are better equipped to face the challenges and opportunities of fatherhood.  Men attend the class when they are expecting their first baby, and are joined in the workshop by “veterans” who had previously attended and have returned with their two to four-month-old baby in tow.  They are able to give the dads-to-be a realistic idea of what to do and what to expect when their first baby comes.  For many men attending, it’s their first time holding a baby.

Now celebrating their 19th year, Boot Camp for New Dads is nationally acclaimed as the “Best Practice” for preparing men to be fathers and has been named a U.S. Navy Model Program.  Boot Camp for New Dads has prepared more than 200,000 men for fatherhood over the years. 

           

With more than 4.1 million births (National Center for Health Statistics), and approximately 1.5 million men becoming new dads every year, it’s more important than ever for fathers to realize that being a “good provider” is only part of the very central role they have in their children’s lives.

History of Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway $5.69 In 1859, Cyrus K. Holliday envisioned a railroad that would run from Kansas to the Pacific, increasing the commerce and prosperity of the nation. With farsighted investors and shrewd management, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad grew from Holliday's idea into a model of the modern, rapid, and efficient railroad. There were many growing pains. Rustlers, thieves, and desperadoes were as thick as the cattle in Kansas when the first rails were laid. When a conductor, toting a pistol, asked a grizzled prospector where he was heading, the old man replied, "Hell." "That's 65 and get off at Dodge," the weary conductor declared. Once built with rails from Wales laid on ties of oak and walnut, the railroad survived the economic and climatic hardships of the late nineteenth century, and eventually extended from Chicago to San Francisco, with over 12,000 miles of track and substantial holdings in oil fields, timber land, uranium mines, pipe lines, and real estate.
