1. Determine if the curtain track will be used outside - Curtain track which is used outside often times needs to resist the elements to last many years. The rain, debris, and ultraviolet rays from the sun wear down materials and cause will cause premature wear. To combat this, outside heavy duty industrial curtain track needs to be constructed from galvanized steel or even stainless steel curtain track.
2. How will the curtain track be used - Industrial curtain track can feature roller wheels on the curtain hangers which allow the curtain to be pushed forward and backwards. This is ideal for applications where the curtain will have to be moved on a frequent basis. If the curtain does not have to move, then a less expensive fixed curtain track can be used.
3. Will the Heavy Duty Industrial Curtain Track be utilized for wash down containment - If your intention is to utilize the hardware for hanging curtains which will contain wash down power washing, then a stainless steel hardware package should be used. There is a type of stainless steel curtain hardware which will not corrode and will not contaminate the clean room environment. In addition, this special hardware will not collect debris which is kicked up by the power washer. It does this with its special round tube design and circular curtain hooks. This is especially important for clean room environments where the track must not contaminate the environment.
