In ihrem Mittelpunkt steht die Minnelyrik Walthers von der Vogelweide. Um dessen Konzepte von Minne und Minnesang vorstellen zu k nnen, werden im Vorfeld die formalen und inhaltlichen Kriterien des klassischen Minnesangs thematisiert, da dieser so genannte rheinische Minnesang der T tigkeit Walthers unmittelbar vorausgeht. Formal werden die Aspekte der f r diese Zeit typischen Minnekanzone aufgef hrt. Inhaltlich wird die Entwicklung von einer fr hen Werbesituation hin zur klassischen dienstminne beschrieben, welche durch eine andauernde Klagesituation und durch die Thematisierung des Leides gekennzeichnet ist. Im Anschluss daran sollen die Neuerungen und ver nderten Ansichten Walthers von der Vogelweide bez glich der konventionellen Minne dargelegt werden.
