In ihrem Mittelpunkt steht die Minnelyrik Walthers von der Vogelweide. Um dessen Konzepte von Minne und Minnesang vorstellen zu k nnen, werden im Vorfeld die formalen und inhaltlichen Kriterien des klassischen Minnesangs thematisiert, da dieser so genannte rheinische Minnesang der T tigkeit Walthers unmittelbar vorausgeht. Formal werden die Aspekte der f r diese Zeit typischen Minnekanzone aufgef hrt. Inhaltlich wird die Entwicklung von einer fr hen Werbesituation hin zur klassischen dienstminne beschrieben, welche durch eine andauernde Klagesituation und durch die Thematisierung des Leides gekennzeichnet ist. Im Anschluss daran sollen die Neuerungen und ver nderten Ansichten Walthers von der Vogelweide bez glich der konventionellen Minne dargelegt werden. Hierbei liegt der Schwerpunkt auf den inhaltlichen Ver nderungen, da Walther die formalen Vorgaben seiner Vorg nger gr tenteils weiterf hrt. Die grundlegenden Forderungen Walthers von der Vogelweide werden mit Blick auf die ihm vorangegangenen Entw rfe erl utert und machen so die besondere Position dieses Autors in der deutschen Lyrik des 13. Jahrhunderts deutlich. Des Weiteren wird das Konzept der Niederen Minne in den M dchenliedern Walthers dargelegt. An diesen Ausf hrungen sollen die neuen Sichtweisen der Frau und des Verh ltnisses von Mann und Frau deutlich werden, die Walther in seiner Karriere als Minnelyriker entwickelt.
